More about Roxanne
Nautor Swan History
Oy Nautor Ab was founded in Finland in 1966 by Pekka Koskenkylä. His intention was to build the first 10m yacht capable of both cruising and racing, using a fibre glass mould. At the heart of his concept was quality, the core focus of Nautor’s production process throughout its history. Series production was considered key to the success of the venture and precise, logistical organisation was paramount at an early stage.

History of Swan 51 Roxanne
Roxanne have hull number 018 and she was launched June 1982 to a Norwegian owner. We (the current owner) bought her in the fall 1989 and took her to Windövarvet on the Swedish westcost. Windövarvet was at that time a licensed Swan yard and they worked a lot with different Swan´s. Roxanne was at the yard over the winter 89/90 for a throughout recondition. Under sail
To sail Swan 51 Roxanne is a brilliant experience. Up wind she is one of the best balanced and fastest standard sailboats on the sea. If you use the electrical Lewmar ST 65 winches in the aft cockpit to the foresail sheet she is very easy to handle and to sail her shorthanded is no problem at all.
Under power
If you are in a hurry or if the wind speed is to low you can easily make 8 knots under power. Roxanne is also nice and easy to handle in harbors ect.

Current owner
Roxanne has since 1989 been owned by a small company named BLL Partner HB. The company has 3 part-owners and we have been running a charterbusiness with Roxanne in the Stockholm archipelago. All nice things have an end and we have now decided to sell Roxanne.
Roxanne is for sell
There is just a few Swan 51´s for sale in the world and the quality varies a lot. In our opinion Roxanne is for sure one of the very best. She is very well kept and offers her owner a lot of joy, convenience and nice sailing.
Both the price and forms for the bye can be discussed.
